The closest airport to UC Irvine is John Wayne Airport (SWA) located just 10 minutes from campus. Alternatively, guests may fly into Long Beach Airport (LGB) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Long Beach Airport is a 30-minute drive from campus, Los Angeles International Airport is 60 minutes from campus, without traffic. Traffic from both of these airports can be very heavy during commute times (7-10am and 4-8pm). Please plan accordingly.
